Early Childhood Development in Crisis Settings: A Priority for Global Action
The Summit of the Future presents a pivotal opportunity to reinvigorate global cooperation and address humanity’s critical challenges. As world leaders convene to reaffirm commitments to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the Pact for the Future and forge a new consensus on multilateral solutions, the Moving Minds Alliance (MMA) urges prioritising early childhood development in emergencies (ECDiE) for refugee, displaced, and host community children aged 0-8 and their caregivers.
This brief highlight how prioritising ECDiE in the discussions at the SoTF and Pact for the Future contributes to accelerating the attainment of the SDGs, building resilient societies and safeguarding future generations in the wake of heightened global displacement.
