Moving Minds Alliance works to scale up the financing, policies and leadership needed to effectively support young children and families affected by crisis and displacement everywhere.
To scale up the financing, policies, and leadership needed to effectively support young children and families affected by crisis and displacement everywhere.
Families caught up in crisis are able to rebuild resilience and foster the wellbeing and development of their young children.
The purpose of this Research Forum is to identify research projects taking place around the world focused on young children and caregivers affected by crisis and displacement. Researchers from the Global North and South are invited to join to share findings, lessons learned, and measurement tools and approaches with each other and the broader early childhood development in emergencies (ECDiE) community.
We are especially interested in highlighting the growing body of research that is co-designed and co-created with communities and families. Research will be disseminated through a monthly Research Roundup and quarterly public webinars, each with a regional focus.
The Research Forum also supports new and emerging researchers through its Research Fellowship Program where a cohort of researchers and research-oriented practitioners will carry out studies on issues related to young children (from pre-natal to school-entry) and families in emergency contexts over the upcoming year.
